Thanks for Responding and Welcome

Picture
This is one of my original paintings - just to brighten your day. It kind of encapsulates where I am in this process of turning my face-to-face practice into an online offering....Things are bubbling up from under the surface and just beginning to take shape. What I'm saying is, I need a few more days to automate my systems and get the resources out to you, so please be patient.

In the meantime, here is an infographic I made to remind myself of 7 Ways to Get Beyond the Inner Critic. So many of us struggle with inner critic or self-doubt in relation to doing anything creative. It's completely normal and to be expected. By nature, doing something creative (and therefore new) means we are stepping beyond our comfort zone. This is true for being creative in art or in life in general. And being creative in any sphere of life is so good for us. In fact, it is the very essence of life!

So, the first step of any creative practice is to accept that it will most probably be accompanied by anxiety and that this is fertile ground for the inner critic. The second step is learning to manage this anxiety and keep going!
